Palmer/Wrenbridge buy Unilever's Bedford campus

Palmer Capital, the real estate fund manager and Wrenbridge, the Cambridge based property company, have bought Colworth Park in Bedford from a joint venture between Goodman and Unilever for around £50m.

Colworth Park is a global research and development site occupied by Unilever since 1947. It employs circa 600 people on site and comprises 91 acres with 350,000 sq ft of R&D, office, warehouse and site support. The property is located on the outskirts of Sharnbrook, nine miles to the north of Bedford.
