Investing in Scotland: only for the bravehearted?

Scotland has been off-limits for more than a few London-based investors for much of the past decade. Reasons often cited include risks associated with the country becoming independent, the make-up and performance of its occupier markets and concerns over the depth of investor demand and therefore the ability to exit holdings.
