Melissa Cushma has rejoined Transwestern Real Estate Services as a senior project manager, one of two recent appointments the real estate firm made in its Atlanta office.
Cushma brings over a decade of experience overseeing real estate projects. In her new role, she will handle project management for the firm's Southeast clients.
Cushma returns to Transwestern, where she served as a project manager earlier in her career, after nine years with Avison Young as a senior project manager. There, she oversaw office, industrial and medical construction and building improvement projects throughout the Southeast. Her assignments included an 11,000-square-foot tenant improvement project for Sonoco Products Co. and a 152,000-square-foot renovation project for Vanderlande’s North American relocation, Transwestern said in its release announcing the hire.
Transwestern also promoted Carlie Phillips to project coordinator on the project services team. She joined the firm's healthcare advisory services group in 2021 as a marketing administrative associate before being promoted to office coordinator.
