Brooklyn-based Infinite Care, a licensed home care services agency, acquired the former Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing facility in Yonkers as a new base of operations for extending its services into lower Westchester County. The sale of the main building at 75 Ashburton Ave. and a smaller adjoining building at 65 Ashburton Ave. was selected to receive the 2023 CoStar Impact Award for sale/acquisition of the year in Westchester-Southern Connecticut, as judged by real estate professionals familiar with the market.
Infinite added several wellness features and unique amenities to the newly renovated facility, including energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. It also contracted with the hospital attached to its building to arrange free parking and offer shuttle buses for staff and residents.
About the project: The six-story main building overlooks the Hudson River. Infinite Care provides occupational therapy, counseling, healthcare, home care, skilled nursing, speech therapy, and physical therapy.
What the judges said: "This part of Yonkers is benefitting from recent revitalization," said Laura Leeds, a principal with Simon David Real Estate.
"The investment and presence of this heathcare services provider will be very impactful for the area," said Paul Scalzo of Scalzo Commercial & New Development.
They made it happen: Max Kenigsburg, regional administrator for Infinite Care.
