RBS to close four Edinburgh offices and consolidate HQ

The Royal Bank of Scotland is set to close four of its bases in Edinburgh as its consolidates its operations into its Gogarburn headquarters, bringing up to 344,000 sq ft to the capital's office market over the next two years.

The bank has confirmed that the move will happen in stages over the next 18 months and it is expected that by the beginning of 2017, Gogarburn will be serving around 6,000 employees.
