CoStar Interns: Our weeks with client services and sales

University of Reading real estate undergraduates Richard Oyom and Emilianos Vassiliou are undertaking a four-week internship programme at CoStar. In the first of a series of pieces on their time at CoStar, Richard (pictured right) and Emilianos (left) report alternatively on their week in London with CoStar’s client services team and then their week with sales.

The second week of our internship took place at the London office. We were assigned to the client services department and were supervised by Atul Patel, the client services manager. He introduced us to the client services team, and also explained the primary function of the client services department. These involved contacting clients through phone calls, setting up client accounts, offering first-line technical support and training and following up prospective clients.
