Seven years after an affiliate of retail real estate operator NewMark Merrill Cos. purchased an ailing mall in the Denver suburb of Longmont, Colorado, the company has signed three new leases bringing the shopping center to 99% full, an example of how some retail owners are turning around mall properties even in troubled times for the retail industry at large.
