Hotel deals below $50 million continue to be a large share of total sales

$2.2 billion of smaller deals traded in the first quarter

U.S. hotel deal volume in the first quarter declined by around 30%, or $1.2 billion, from the first quarter a year ago. Hotel deals for assets under $50 million also declined, but they continue to make up a large share of total asset sales.
