The Market Had Seen a Continued Rise Since Early 2022

Los Angeles apartment market vacancy has held steady in recent months after rising since early 2022. Since late May, market vacancy has hovered around 4.8%. Renter demand quarter to date, of almost 2,200 units, is up from 700 and 850 units in the first and second quarters of this year, respectively. So far, demand in the third quarter has essentially matched the almost 2,200 units added quarter to date.
