Equity Residential Extends Buying Binge in Denver Area

Equity Residential is extending its acquisition strategy in greater Denver with the largest multifamily purchase in Lakewood, Colorado, over the past six months. The deal follows the announcement of a nearly $1 billion deal with Blackstone that is expected to add roughly 1,000 units to the real estate investment trust’s portfolio in the Mile High City market.
