A 107-acre plot of land in the Texas capital that’s served as the U.S. headquarters for an international semiconductor company for decades is being purchased by the city of Austin, Texas. Council members authorized city officials to buy Tokyo Electron U.S. Holdings' campus in East Austin for $87 million as part of a potential sale-leaseback deal.
