Austin’s labor market continues to grow steadily but at a slower pace than in previous years. The city's labor market expanded by 1.7% from October 2023 to October 2024, adding 22,500 jobs. This is slower than last year’s 2.9% growth which equated to the addition of 37,400 jobs.
