Strategic property consultancy Rapleys has hired Phillip Ankers as a partner and made him national head of project management and cost consultancy in the building consultancy division.
Ankers joins from Pulse Consult and will be based in the Bristol office. He brings with him more than 16 years of experience working for Aecom, JLL and Deloitte Real Estate.
He will be responsible for "leading and growing the project management and cost consultancy service nationally as part of the building consultancy division".
Rapleys added the appointment follows the growth of the London and Birmingham building consultancy teams, as well as the launch of a team in Cambridge.
Justin Tuckwell, managing partner at Rapleys, said in a statement: "We are thrilled to bring Phillip in to lead project management and cost consultancy nationally.
"He brings with him huge experience from his previous firms and a great network. We will continue to grow building consultancy, both in terms of the range of services and skills we offer clients, and in our national coverage with more hires on the horizon."
Rapleys Building Consultancy team was last week appointed on two public sector frameworks by Pagabo and to the Healthy Homes framework by the Communities and Housing Investment Consortium.
