Global property consultancy Knight Frank has increased its team in Cardiff by adding Rhys Price to its logistics and industrial division, looking to increase its market share in the region.

Price becomes an associate partner, joining after eight years at Cooke & Arkwright, and will work alongside partner Neil Francis and surveyor Emily Wilson-Davies. Knight Frank said he was an integral part of his former employer's business space team, specialising in the industrial market in South Wales.

Neil Francis, head of the logistics and industrial team in Cardiff, said in a statement: "We have enjoyed a number of years of continued growth in our sector and Rhys’ arrival will strengthen our team and enable us to expand our agency and lease advisory offering."

Matt Phillips, head of Knight Frank's Cardiff office, added: "This is an important appointment for us. The industrial sector has continued to perform strongly, and we want to ensure that we continue to grow our market share and ensure we are best placed to advise in what we consider a key sector for the business."

Earlier this month Knight Frank launched a dedicated social value consultancy team and appointed Kalli Stuart as social value consultant. The team aims to help clients incorporate social value into their investment decisions.
