The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is scheduled to close after 25 years near the Las Vegas Strip in February then re-emerge after an eight-month, $200 million renovation as Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of a national expansion of the latest offering by the lifestyle hospitality brand founded in 2010 by British billionaire and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson.
