Atlanta Office Lease Terms Shorten During Pandemic, but Not by Much

Smaller Tenants Account for the Most Significant Decline in Lease Length

Despite uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, office lease terms in Atlanta were not significantly shorter in 2020 compared to recent pre-pandemic norms. The average office lease length in Atlanta last year was 3.3 years, compared to the prior five-year average of 3.5 years.
