Cardinal Equities Acquires Former Home of Death Row Records

The Beverly Hills Office Building and Billboard Fetches $17.5M

Cardinal Equities LLC acquired the former home of hip-hop record label Death Row Records in Beverly Hills, CA, from 8200 Wilshire Development LLC. The sale of the office building included a billboard on the roof which affected the sales price. It was reported that $12,812,000, or about $562 per square foot, was allocated to the real estate. The 22,789-square-foot building is located at 8200 Wilshire Blvd. It was constructed in 1979 and renovated in 2006-2007. Andrew Levant of Kennedy-Wilson Properties, Ltd. in Beverly Hills represented the seller, while Adam Emrani of Lucent Capital in Beverly Hills represented the buyer.
