Many office markets around the country are struggling to contend with a glut of aging, hard-to-fill office space. That isn't the case in Savannah, Georgia, a city that boasts one of the lowest office vacancy rates in the United States. But despite the low vacancy, developers are buying up well-located, historic in-town office buildings for hotel conversions as they instead look to tap into the city's robust hotel sector.
