Julie White has been named chief commercial officer, premium, economy and midscale brands for Europe & North Africa at Accor. She is based in London and arrives from a role at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts as vice president, commercial, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Eurasia.
Ahmad Yousry Elbeheiry
Ahmad Yousry Elbeheiry has joined Dubai hotel firm Aleph Hospitality as its director of development, and he has been charged initially with focusing on development in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The rest of his career has been in business advisory for such firms as JLL, Colliers and, most recently, HVS Middle East & Africa.
Hanno Barkhoff
Hanno Barkhoff has been tapped as general manager at the 269-room Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra in the Ghanaian capital. He most recently was general manager at the firm’s flagship hotel, the Adlon Kempinski Berlin.
Jad Moukheiber
Jad Moukheiber has joined Kempinski Hotels as its chief legal officer, and he also will sit on the firm’s management board. Moukheiber’s most recent role was as general manager at Bahrain-based Banader Hotels Company where he oversaw the firm’s budget and strategy.

Mairea Doyle Balfe has been named executive director, corporate development at Irish hotel advisory Cliste Hospitality.
Siim Karu
Siim Karu has returned to hotel firms Generator and Freehand as their chief commercial officer. Between 2017 and 2019, Karu worked as global head of revenue management. In the interim, he was at A&O Hostels.

Malin Selander has been named communications director at Stockholm-based Scandic Hotels Group. She arrives to the hotel industry from the telecommunications sector.

Nicholas Davies
Nicholas Davies has been announced by hotel firm Doyle Collection as the new general manager of its 252-room London hotel The Marylebone. Davies’ prior experiences has been gained at such spots as Brown’s, also in London, and The Lowry, Manchester, and he also has worked for companies such as Rocco Forte Hotels.
Jakob Gowin
Jakob Gowin has joined the 581-room Meliá White House in London as its general manager. His last charge was as general manager at the Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge.
