Cushman & Wakefield Taps Denver Valuation & Advisory Veterans

Cushman & Wakefield is expanding its living sectors practice with a pair of veteran valuation and advisory professionals in the firm's Denver office.

Mark Lodmill has joined the firm's valuation and advisory living sectors group as an executive vice president.

Lodmill brings more than 25 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience, mostly focused on multifamily valuations throughout Colorado's Front Range, Western Slope and High Country regions covering Denver, Boulder, Greeley, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Durango, Glenwood Springs, Colorado Springs, Aspen, Vail and Breckenridge. He has completed valuations for conventional properties, student housing projects and affordable housing including Section 8, housing assistance payment, low-income housing tax credit and Department of Housing and Urban Development assignments.

With nearly 135 professionals, Cushman & Wakefield valuation and advisory’s living sectors practice group works on behalf of owners of single multifamily properties and large portfolios around the globe.

"Greater Denver remains a growing market, and Mark will be instrumental in helping us continue to expand and elevate the services we offer our multifamily clients," said Steve Schwab, Cushman & Wakefield’s managing principal for Denver and Utah, in a corporate statement announcing the new hires.

Lodmill joins Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE, where he led the firm’s Colorado multifamily practice team and was a top producer in the Colorado market for the past 11 years. While there, he focused on multifamily consultations, reviews, market studies, rent analysis, feasibility studies and litigation support, but also worked in other property types in the retail, office and industrial sectors across Western states.

Kelly Lehman will serve as a director on Lodmill's team at Cushman & Wakefield, also joining the firm from CBRE.

Hunt Joins Colliers Healthcare Group

Bettina Hunt has joined Colliers as a senior vice president with its healthcare specialty group in Phoenix.

In her new role, Hunt will continue to focus on landlord and tenant representation within the healthcare property space.

Hunt brings more than 23 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as a senior vice president of leasing for Healthcare Trust of America and as a designated broker in Arizona for Healthcare Management of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of HTA. In addition to handling leasing, she oversaw business development for a 3.7 million-square-foot medical office portfolio spread across nine states.

Hunt holds the certified property manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and the commercial investment member designation from the CCIM Institute, in addition to a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in real estate management. She currently serves on the Westmarc Healthcare Committee and as a board member for CCIM's Central Arizona chapter.

CBRE Adds Rosenbaum to Investment Management Team

Colin Rosenbaum has joined CBRE Investment Management as a senior director of commercial real estate acquisitions for Texas and the Southeast. He is based in the firm's Dallas office.

In his new role, Rosenbaum says he'll be leading office, life sciences, retail and self-storage acquisitions across the region, reporting to Sondra Wenger, senior managing director and head of commercial real estate for the Americas at CBRE.

Rosenbaum most recently served as senior vice president of acquisitions in Texas at Regent Properties, where he helped open the Dallas office and sourced $800 million in new deals, including the Trammell Crow Center acquisition in March for J.P. Morgan's core fund. Before that, he spent nearly nine years leading Sunbelt area acquisitions for Parkway Properties, an institutional real estate owner and operator in high-growth markets, where he completed more than 25 million square feet of sale and development activity.

Rubenstein Appoints Mulrane To Lead Southeast Investments

Ken Mulrane has joined Rubenstein Partners, a vertically integrated real estate investment adviser, as its new head of investment activities in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast.

In his new role, Mulrane will source, evaluate and execute investment and disposition opportunities throughout the region on behalf of the company, which focuses on value-add office investments and debt and equity transactions.

Mulrane has more than 20 years of commercial real estate investment experience across the office, retail, multifamily, industrial and hospitality sectors nationwide, overseeing acquisitions, redevelopment, management and dispositions on behalf of public and corporate pension funds, high-net-worth individuals and sovereign wealth funds. He was most recently with the Macquarie Group and, before that, held various roles at Altus Properties and Piedmont Office Realty Trust.

CenterPoint Affirms Commitment to ESG, Sustainability

CenterPoint Properties has appointed Tanner Hayes senior vice president of environmental, social and corporate governance, or ESG, and sustainability. He is based in the firm's corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Hayes said in a statement he will help the firm advance its commitment to ESG, noting that he is "joining a tremendous team at the forefront of decarbonizing real estate and logistics operations."

Hayes most recently worked at global industrial real estate firm Prologis, where he focused on renewable energy, clean technology, mobility and sustainable building design and construction. Before that, he worked for national shopping center owner Regency Centers, assisting with solar development and leasing for electric vehicle charging stations in addition to coordinating with the company's operations and investment teams.

St. John Properties Promotes Schwabenbauer

St. John Properties, a commercial real estate firm that is active in nine states and has developed more than 22 million square feet, has promoted Ryan Schwabenbauer to assistant vice president of sustainability.

In his expanded role, Schwabenbauer will direct all aspects of the company's sustainability program, implementing protocols to conserve energy and natural resources while developing and constructing environmentally friendly buildings and executing plans for green architecture.

Schwabenbauer has been with the company since 2016. He brings more than 21 years of experience in the sustainability industry, having previously worked with Maryland Environmental Service, as well as founding and operating a company that provided sustainability solutions to other companies.

JACKSONVILLE

Bruce Joins Capstone's North Florida Office

William Bruce has joined Charlotte, North Carolina-based Capstone Cos. as an investment sales adviser in Jacksonville, Florida.

In his new role, Bruce will work alongside Cameron Hooper, an investment sales adviser who has led the brokerage's Jacksonville office since it opened last year, as well as working with Capstone's brokerage team in Tampa, which is led by Managing Director Jad Richa.

Bruce joins Capstone after a six-year career with BBVA/PNC, where he most recently served as a senior branch manager and was named East territory lead in 2022. He grew up in Jacksonville and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the University of North Florida.
