Shivam Properties, a Jacksonville Beach, Florida-based hotel developer and operator, has purchased a hospitality property in South Lake Tahoe, California, for $24.4 million, or just about $148,780 per room. The hotel — dubbed Hotel Becket — was sold by a trio of investors, namely the New York-based Suncroft Capital; the Charlotte, North Carolina-headquartered Auerbach Funds; and the Denver-based MBP Capital.
