Nadine al Bulushi

Al Bulushi has been named general manager at the Kempinski Hotel Muscat in the capital of Oman. Al Bulushi joined the hotel in 2019 and has risen from being executive assistant manager to hotel manager to her current position. She has also worked for Radisson Hotel Group and Hyatt Hotels Corp.

Gonzalo Aguilar

Aguilar has been appointed CEO, Europe and Americas, at Minor Hotels. He succeeds Ramón Aragonés, who has retired but remains on the Thai hotel firm’s board of directors. Aguilar arrives from his position as chief operating officer, Europe, Marriott International.

Javier Águila

Águila has been named president of Hyatt's Inclusive Collection, a role he will conduct in tandem with his present role as group president, Europe, Africa and Middle East. Águila has been part of Hyatt since the Chicago-based firm acquired Apple Leisure Group in June 2022, following Apple’s acquisition of Alua Hotels & Resorts, which he founded.

Uzo Oshogwe

Oshogwe has been appointed managing director and CEO of Transcorp Hotels, which owns the Transcorp Hilton Abuja in the capital of Nigeria and the upcoming Transcorp Hotel Ikoyi due to open in Lagos in 2027. She arrives from running investment firm Afriland Properties and replaces Dupe Olusola, who held the role for almost five years.

Ons Gherib

Gherib is the new senior vice president of design and construction at hotel firm Belmond. He has had similar roles at Chanel, Montblanc and Yves Saint Laurent.

Jurgen Ammerstorfer

Ammerstorfer has been named as the general manager of the Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel. Previously, he has had roles at Marriott's Ritz-Carlton brand, Celebrity Cruises, Hilton, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Leading Hotels of the World, Park Plaza and Preferred Hotels.

Alexandre Ariel

Ariel has begun as general manager at the Fairmont Monte Carlo in Monaco. He started at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 2007 and has also worked at its hotels in Barcelona.

Patrick Antaki

Antaki has been appointed as vice president of operations, Middle East, at management firm Valor Hospitality Partners. He is based in the United Arab Emirates and arrives from a role of chief operating officer at Hospitality Management Holding.

Jan Ringertz

Ringertz has been named as chief operating officer at Lisbon-based Octant Hotels, a division of Discovery Hotel Management which has eight hotels in Portugal, The Azores and the Cape Verde Islands.

Andrew Steele

Steele has been appointed as managing director of two Accor-branded hotels in Qatar, the Raffles Doha and the Fairmont Doha. Before coming to Qatar, Steele was general manager at Raffles Istanbul Zorlu Center.

Nicola James

James has started as general manager at the Miiro Templeton Garden, which is to open in the Earls Court district of London in April. Her former role was general manager of the Holmes Hotel in Marylebone, London.

Sébastien Mariette

Mariette has been named as general manager of the Kempinksi Hotel Harbor Heights Bahrain. He will also be vice president of operations, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Levant and Morocco. Mariette has been part of Kempinski Hotels since 2007 and has positions at its hotels in Bulgaria, China, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Singapore and the UAE.

Alastair Thomann

Thomann has been named CEO of hotel firm Edyn. Thomann was most recently CEO of Generator Hotels and Freehand Hotels, and he succeeds Daniel Carre-Bishop, who was CEO in a temporary capacity and now resumes his tole as chief financial officer.

Rahool Macarius

Macarius has been appointed market managing director for Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, overseeing its hotels in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
