Nearly 96% of Private Sector Jobs Have Been Recovered

New York's job recovery continues to trudge along, with about 182,000 private sector jobs added in the Big Apple over the past year, according to the latest jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This represents roughly 96% of private sector jobs lost during the pandemic. While most major cities have already recovered all jobs lost during the pandemic, the continued addition of jobs across a majority of industries is good news nonetheless.
