A provider of emergency lodging and corporate housing has acquired the Holiday Inn Express off Interstate 20 in Irondale, Alabama.

Empire Hospitality of Vancouver, Washington, purchased the 99-room hotel at 811 Old Grants Mill Road from Star Hospitality of Alpharetta, Georgia, for $7.85 million, or $79,293 per room.

Constructed in 2003, the four-story building totals 56,015 square feet.

Holt Moore of KW Commercial Metro Atlanta represented the seller in the deal.
