Employees in CIM Group's Phoenix office engaged in some team building recently while taking in an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game.

CIM, a development and investment firm with $29 billion in assets in 75 areas, said it typically focuses on underserved communities near booming metropolitan regions or thriving downtowns. Beyond development, the company also owns and operates properties.

The group who attended the game included, pictured from left, Francine DeMore, Bethany Van Oosten, Robert Scheuch, Kylee Kass, Rochelle Amburgey and Nicolle Cameron.

In addition to employees gathering socially, CIM encourages them to volunteer their time through partnerships with nonprofits such as Habitat for Humanity and City Year’s Los Angeles branch.

“Our team is our most important asset, which is why we make sure to dedicate time to team building and camaraderie,” the company said in a LinkedIn post after the game. “Win or lose, they enjoyed connecting outside the office and cheering on their home team.”
