Hillwood, a Texas development firm founded by billionaire Ross Perot Jr., is building e-commerce giant Amazon's first fulfillment center in the West Texas city of El Paso near the U.S.-Mexican border, which will help the online retailer continue to grow its regional operations and logistics network throughout the country as more consumers shift their shopping habits online.
