Following an agreement last year to sell 4,500 of its Electric Delivery Vehicles to Walmart to be used for last-mile deliveries in support of the retailer's growing ecommerce business, Canoo Inc. announced it had entered into a long-term lease agreement with an affiliate of AFV Partners, a related party, for its recently announced Vehicle Manufacturing Facility in Oklahoma City. Canoo will initially occupy close to 500,000 square feet in the 637,041-square-foot Terex USA Oklahoma City complex, with the ability to expand in future phases. The company expects to employ more than 500 people in the initial phase of operations.
