James Young, Cushman & Wakefield's head of investor services in Europe, Middle East & Africa, came to the annual Mipim conference in Cannes in part to unveil a major report into potential office obsolescence across the Continent given government regulatory pressures on sustainability.
CoStar News caught up with Young to find out how as much as 76% of offices are at risk of obsolescence by the end of the decade if they are not repositioned or repurposed in some form. He also focused on the country by country differences in the global return to the office, the "Monday and Friday problem", and the opportunities for the industry all of this creates.
