Retail construction unlikely to satiate space-hungry San Diego

San Diego's retail real estate market is doing well, with the area on course to end the year with availability declining for the third straight quarter to under 4.5%. That's despite several closures this year, including 99 Cents Only shuttering its 20 stores in San Diego in April, which opened up more than 400,000 square feet.
