As the coronavirus pandemic took root in the United States, a heart-shaped ring of lighted windows appeared on the vast facade of the 45-story Hyatt Regency in Seattle, the biggest hotel in the Pacific Northwest and the lone hospitality-only tower in the city that officially qualifies as a "tall building."
