Real estate’s leading charity football tournament, the Property Cup, has unveiled its line-up for this year's competition.

The contest, organised by Lambert Smith Hampton, will kick off on 7 May at Queens Park Rangers' Loftus Road Stadium in west London. CoStar News is the media sponsor with SmartSpaces, Tayler Reid, Porterfield PR among the other firms backing the tournament.

This year the Property Cup has reverted to a 16-team event, with some of the UK's leading property agents competing in the knock-out tournament which raised more than £7,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research last year.

The competition has raised almost £60,000 for charity in its current format over the years.

Teams taking to the pitch this year include Lambert Smith Hampton, CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank, Savills, Montagu Evans, Gardiner & Theobald, Arcadis, CoStar, Ryan, Hartnell Taylor Cook, Colliers, Glenny, Newmark and The Office Agents Society.

Jon Rea-Palmer, head of M4 Corridor at LSH and the principal organiser of the tournament, told CoStar News: "This year's Property Cup is set to be another highly successful tournament particularly as it returns to a 16-team format. Our thanks go in advance to all the participants, sponsors and QPR FC as we continue our fundraising efforts for the Bobby Moore Fund."

With more than 16,800 men and women dying from bowel cancer each year, the charity raises awareness of the illness. Donations can be made via the Bobby Moore Fund, a charity which raises money in memory of England's legendary captain during the 1966 World Cup triumph who died from prostate cancer.

Last year's tournament was won by hosts Lambert Smith Hampton who beat Colliers in a penalty shoot-out to take home the main trophy, read here.
