Markets Rise on Sharply Falling Eurozone Inflation With Investors Rediscovering Appetite for Risk

Eurozone headline inflation fell sharply again in November to 2.4% from 2.9% the previous month. Headline inflation was at 8.6% at the start of the year. Core inflation, excluding volatile energy, food, alcohol and tobacco, also fell to 3.6% in November from 4.2% in October. The positive figures follow the better-than-expected inflation numbers in the US and the UK which were released earlier last month.
