Residential technology firm Latch changed its name and its headquarters in a move last year to the St. Louis area.

With a lease of 61,761 square feet of office and warehouse space at 1220 N. Price Road in Olivette, Missouri, the seller of residential operating systems and services relocated from New York.

The company, led by Ring doorbell creator Jamie Siminoff, also changed its name to Door.com.

The lease in a historic building was chosen by an independent panel of real estate professionals familiar with the market as the winner of the 2024 CoStar Impact Awards Lease of the Year for St. Louis.

About the Project: Door.com’s deal was a key step in Bamboo Properties’ redevelopment of the former Southern Comfort manufacturing facility, which was built in 1958. The project was 75% leased within six months after construction was completed.

What the Judges Said: "This lease brought a strong dot-com business to St. Louis, allowing them the opportunity to grow and expand their presence here in St. Louis while broadcasting to a national customer base," said Alex Zvibleman of SVN Infinity Commercial Group.

They Made It Happen: The landlord was represented by Intelica Commercial Real Estate brokers Drew Clary and Gary Parker. The tenant was represented by Boston Realty Advisors broker Robert LeClair and Drew Clary of Intelica Commercial.
