New Jersey-based real estate firm Denholtz has named a Kushner Cos.' veteran as executive vice president and head of capital markets.
Jennifer McCool joined Denholtz, a privately held investment management firm based in Red Bank, where the company said she will work closely with CEO Katie Kurtz "to grow and scale the firm’s capital formation strategy."
McCool brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate investment experience to her new role with Denholtz. She comes to the firm from New York-based Kushner, where she led the day-to-day strategy and execution of its investment management efforts as executive vice president. Prior to her position at Kushner, McCool was chief operating officer at WatermanCLARK, a vertically integrated real estate investment and operating company.
McCool has also served as executive vice president and chief legal officer at Related Cos. in New York, overseeing corporate and transaction-related legal matters in major global developments. During her tenure, she played an important role in launching and executing the firm’s private fund management strategy.

McCool has a degree in business and corporate communications from the University of Delaware and a law degree from New York Law School.
Founded in 1953, Denholtz manages over $2 billion in industrial, residential, retail, office and mixed-use properties. It has a portfolio of over 7 million square feet, operating throughout the north and southeast United States.
