Peraton, a fast-growing government technology contractor formed in 2017 when private-equity firm Veritas Capital acquired the government technology services business of Harris Corp., announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Worldgate Drive in Herndon to nearby Reston Town Center in Washington, D.C.'s Northern Virginia suburbs.
