A recent rezoning of a former light-industrial area between Bellevue and Redmond and the coming of light rail service to the area in 2023 has provided the groundwork for a new neighborhood emerging in the Bel-Red corridor. Developers submitted a master plan for the Spring District in 2008 and the plan was approved by the Bellevue City Council in 2012. After taking shape over the past several years the project is proving to be a catalyst for investment and growth.
