Macerich Co. sold the open-air La Encantada shopping center in Tucson, Arizona's upscale Foothills district to a group of local investors for $165.3 million, the highest price on record paid for an Arizona shopping center and a sign of demand for brick-and-mortar retail in the pandemic.
