The restaurant group behind Adalina in Chicago’s Gold Coast has signed a deal to take over the former Fred’s restaurant space in the old Barneys building on Oak Street, taking over a high-profile restaurant space in the luxury retail district and boosting the redeveloped property’s value as its owner looks to sell.
