Illinois-based Omron Automation, a global industrial automation company that creates, sells and services automation components for robotics and manufacturing clients, announced plans to relocate its manufacturing operations from Renton, Washington, to the Atlas at Inland Port Greer development in Spartanburg County. The new industrial development is located near the Inland Port Greer, I-85 and next to the BMW auto manufacturing plant.
