An Econo Lodge motel on Tacoma's far south side sold for $8.7 million to Casey Stratton, an individual investor from a small town more than 200 miles east of the Puget Sound. It is Stratton's third purchase of a Tacoma motel in one month's time, and, like his other recent acquisitions, the Econo Lodge will be renovated and repurposed as an apartment property.
