Apartment developers are maintaining a brisk pace of construction starts this year in Bend, Oregon, a town of around 100,000 residents located approximately three hours southeast of Portland. In the past year, nearly 700 units have entered the construction pipeline, which has expanded to just under 1,000 units, or 15.7% of the total inventory.
