Renters’ Rights Bill – the impact on landlords and investors

The court system needs support to deal with coming workload

The Renters’ Rights Bill has started making its way through Parliament and will, as currently drafted, see section 21 ‘no fault’ evictions abolished. The courts are, however, ill-equipped to deal with the deluge of extra cases which will inevitably follow, and this will result in additional delays for landlords, investors and developers.
