ABX Logistics (USA) has leased 9,177 square feet of space at 550 Broad St. in Newark, NJ. The global transportation organization, which is relocating from Jersey City, will occupy office space on the 10th floor. The new location will serve as a branch facility for the company. Charles Laginestra, Richard Charles and David Sherman of Insignia/ESG represented landlord, Heritage Management Co. Sean Brady of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey represented the tenant. ABX Logistics has been a Cushman & Wakefield client for more than a decade. During this time, Brady has handled several renewals and relocations on the company's behalf. For this most recent transaction, Brady negotiated a successful buyout of ABX Logistics' Jersey City lease. According to Brady, "Newark has emerged as a great place to establish operations, providing highly competitive rental rates and unparalleled proximity to port facilities, major thoroughfares and Newark International Airport. Within this context, the space at 550 Broad St., a former bank headquarters with views of the Manhattan skyline, provided the prestigious image that ABX Logistics (USA) desired."
