Insignia Hires Senior Managing Director

Bruce Ganong Joins Insignia/ESG's Capital Advisors Group

Bruce Ganong joined Insignia/ESG’s San Francisco Bay Area office as a senior managing director with Insignia/ESG’s Capital Advisors Group. A seasoned debt capital markets specialist, Ganong joined Insignia/ESG as a strategic hire to complement the recent expansion of the Capital Advisors Group in San Francisco. Ganong’s primary responsibility will be to negotiate and secure debt and equity financing on behalf of Insignia/ESG clients on the West Coast. He will also work closely with Bob Gilley, Insignia/ESG’s senior managing director responsible for investment sales in Northern California. Prior to joining Insignia/ESG, Ganong was a vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group. During 2001, Ganong successfully completed financing and advisory assignments valued more than $370 million. In addition to his debt advisory experience at Jones Lang LaSalle, Ganong brings an extensive background in structuring and negotiating complex debt transactions from when he held senior positions with GE Capital Real Estate and the Bank of Nova Scotia. Between 1996 and 2000, Ganong was responsible for originating more than $900 million of debt transactions for various private and institutional real estate clients. Ganong began his real estate career in 1990 with Bank of Nova Scotia in Toronto, Canada.
