According to the latest growth estimates from Oxford Economics, six metropolitan areas in the Pacific Northwest rank among the top 20 for population growth by percent in the United States. For Idaho, in particular, this is a continuation of a several-year trend that has boosted housing prices and driven strong demand for apartments. In 2023, the Pacific Northwest had four regions in the top 10, three of which were in Idaho.
