Ascent St. Pete opened last year as part of a mixed-use destination in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida.
The 37-story tower includes 357 apartment units, as well as a 172-key AC Hotel and 5,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The high-rise complex experienced strong leasing momentum while achieving the highest multifamily rents in downtown St. Pete.
In recognition, the project was selected as the winner of the 2024 CoStar Impact Award for multifamily development of the year for Tampa/St. Petersburg, as judged by a local team of real estate professionals familiar with the market.
About the Project: Located at 225 First Ave. N, Ascent St. Pete features some of the best water views of any multifamily building in the market, including from the 37th-floor rooftop pool deck that is the highest in the Tampa area. Apartment giant Greystar completed the project — its first high-rise in western Florida — on time and under budget.
What the Judges Said: “Ascent is truly a luxury mixed use experience for residents, hotel guests and the surrounding public," said Lisa Ross, managing director with Cushman & Wakefield. "In addition to the luxury apartments with incredible views, the incorporation of the AC Hotel, rooftop restaurant and Olivia’s on the ground floor creates an exciting destination location."
