O.R. Colan Associates performs a variety of services for mostly public agencies including appraisal, consulting, and land acquisition. Last month, however, the firm acquired something of its own: a new South Florida headquarters. The company purchased the 8,820-square-foot office building located at 439 NE 7th Ave. in Ft. Lauderdale for $1.1 million, roughly $125 per square foot. The company occupies a majority of the building, with the remaining space leased to Ed Morse Honda. Robert Piccolo of Arvida Realty Services represented O.R. Colan Associates in the sale, while Don Gilliland and Mark Gilman of Wimbish-Riteway Commercial represented the seller.
