Fifield Cos. in Chicago Promotes Two Senior Leaders

A luxury mid- and high-rise multifamily developer has promoted a pair of market leaders based on their contributions to the firm's expansion into the greater Miami and Denver areas.

Fifield Companies named Lindsey Senn its chief development officer, a new position at the Chicago-based boutique firm, and has promoted Jim Clementi to senior vice president of construction.

Since joining Fifield nearly 10 years ago, Senn has led several complex Chicago development deals from entitlement through completion, including the 220-unit Logan apartments in Logan Square and the 188-unit Westerly apartments in River West, both of which opened and were stabilized during the pandemic.

Senn, who was promoted to executive vice president of Fifield's finance and development teams in 2019, was also instrumental in raising capital for the firm's inaugural general partner fund, according to a corporate statement announcing the promotions.

During his 10-year tenure at Fifield, Clementi has overseen several developments including a transit-oriented development with 220 rental units above a ground-floor Target and a 390-unit rental property atop a Jewel grocery store near the Clark and Division Red Line CTA station in Chicago.

Clementi is currently leading the construction of the firm's first project in the greater Miami area, the 266-unit Avida Aventura, a transit-oriented development near the Aventura Brightline high-speed rail station.

In addition to topping off Avida Aventura in greater Miami, Fifield Cos. is developing an eight-story, mixed-use residential building in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood near the proposed Wynwood Brightline station and recently broke ground on the 302-unit Arden Englewood in the Denver suburb of Englewood. To date, Fifield has completed more than 70 development projects across the United States valued in excess of $7 billion.

"Lindsey and Jim have been invaluable to our growth at Fifield Companies, demonstrating exceptional leadership on several of our firm’s most high-profile projects," said Fifield founder and CEO Steve Fifield in a statement. "Each has mastered the ability to integrate multiple aspects of development and construction, respectively, in turning our visions into realities."
