Wallace To Lead Kidder Mathews' Pacific Northwest Brokerage
Kidder Mathews has promoted a 20-year retail industry veteran to executive vice president of brokerage for the firm's six Pacific Northwest offices in Washington and Oregon.
Monica Wallace has been tapped to oversee the strategic business pursuits, client relationships and broker recruitment activities throughout the region, in addition to continuing to support her clients.
Wallace has over two decades of real estate experience, specializing in leasing grocery-anchored shopping centers and mixed-use retail developments. Throughout her career, Wallace has served as the primary broker on more than 120 projects throughout the Puget Sound area on behalf of a client list that includes Regency Centers, AIG Investments, Hines, Pillar Properties, UDR, Barings, SRM Development and Legacy Partners.
"Kidder Mathews is on a substantial growth path, and Monica has what it takes to help expand our brokerage division in the Pacific Northwest," said Brian Hatcher, Kidder Mathews president and COO, in a corporate statement announcing the move.
Kidder Mathews is an independent, full-service commercial real estate firm with 900 real estate professionals and staff in 20 offices across the West Coast. The company performs $10.9 billion in transactions and conducts over 2,600 appraisals annually while managing over 52 million square feet of commercial space.
Wallace joined Kidder Mathews in 2021 as a senior vice president in its Bellevue, Washington, office. Before that, she was a senior vice president at third-party commercial real estate brokerage Wallace Properties, where she focused on retail leasing and property sales.
Wallace was appointed to chair the board of the Commercial Brokers Association this year and has been an active board member since 2018. She has served on the Bellevue Downtown Association’s board of directors since 2016 and its executive committee since 2018. Wallace has also served as a board member of the Washington State Commercial Association of Realtors for the past 11 years, including a term as president.
Grey To Head Executive Leadership Team at FirstService

FirstService Residential has named Michael Grey as its New England market president in Canton, Massachusetts.
In his new role, Grey will lead all business efforts and oversee executive leadership and strategic direction of the residential management company, in addition to handling client retention and company procedures. He will also work closely with the business development team to grow the company's portfolio in the region.
Grey most recently served as North American vice president of Sodexho, where he led business leaders in its K-12 school services segment and oversaw business operations, sales, retention, marketing and technology. He holds a bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and travel administration from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Nichols College, where he now serves as an adjunct professor. Grey also serves as chairman of the Governor's Workforce Board.
Stream Realty Names Jackson as First CIO

National real estate services firm Stream Realty Partners has promoted Adam Jackson to chief investment officer, a new position at the Dallas-based company.
In his new role, Jackson will continue to oversee the firm's investment initiatives, direct its investment strategy and manage its discretionary investment funds in addition to the origination of key partner relationships.
Jackson joined the firm in 2008, working in various aspects of the business before launching its investment management platform in 2015. Under Jackson's leadership, the investment management team handles four discretionary funds totaling over $1.6 billion of equity and has doubled its headcount over the past two years. Throughout his tenure, Jackson has led roughly $4 billion in acquisitions and developments totaling 30 million square feet.
Walker Joins CMBS Team at Greystone

National commercial real estate finance firm Greystone has hired AJ Walker as a managing director in its Chicago office.
In his new role, Walker will focus on the origination of commercial real estate loans across the country, reporting directly to Rich Highfield, head of commercial mortgage-backed securities at Greystone.
Walker most recently served as a director at Wells Fargo, where he led the firm's real estate capital markets origination efforts in the Midwest, and previously held various roles with its CMBS portfolio surveillance group, CMBS table funding group and CMBS securitization group. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College.
Northmarq Hires Davis To Lead Tulsa Team

Ben Davis has joined Northmarq to lead its new multifamily investment sales team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His hiring marks the 23rd addition in the platform's ongoing national expansion since launching in 2018.
In his new role as a senior vice president of investment sales, Davis will focus on the Oklahoma and Arkansas markets, and he will work with the firm's offices in Dallas, Kansas City and St. Louis to serve clients throughout the lower Midwest region.
Davis brings more than 17 years of experience in the sale and marketing of multifamily properties, most recently as a principal and managing director at SVN Oak Realty Advisors. While there, he brokered nearly $1.3 billion in transaction volume on behalf of institutional investors and private equity firms including Pauls Corp., Block Real Estate, Haley Associates, Sterling America, TMG Associates, Menora Financial Group, Radco and Hamilton Point Investments.
Ware Malcomb Picks Director, Healthcare Design

International design firm Ware Malcomb has hired Clark Pangilinan as director of healthcare design in the firm's Irvine office.
In his new role, Pangilinan will lead the continued growth and management of the firm's healthcare design studio in the Southern California region, including the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego markets.
Pangilinan brings more than 24 years of experience, most recently working with San Diego-based architecture firm DGA, where he focused on healthcare projects including new construction and renovations. Before that, he worked at Pangilinan Consulting Architects, ETC Building & Design and HDR Architecture, according to his LinkedIn profile. A registered architect in the state of California, Pangilinan's project experience includes facility maintenance, equipment upgrades, tenant improvement projects, medical office developments and hospital additions.
Rothgeb Joins GreenRock as Underwriting Director

GreenRock Capital has hired Jared Rothgeb as director of underwriting in Chicago.
Rothgeb brings more than 15 years of experience underwriting real estate acquisitions and debt financing across all real estate asset classes.
Rothgeb previously managed a regional multifamily underwriting team for Freddie Mac's small-balance loan program. He also has experience handling acquisitions for publicly traded healthcare real estate investment trust Ventas. Before that, he spent 10 years at LaSalle Bank and Bank of America, underwriting construction and bridge loans for institutional real estate investors. Rothgeb earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree in finance from Michigan State University.
Froehlich Promoted to Public Works Department Manager

Arizona-based civil engineering firm EPS Group has promoted Principal Greg Froehlich to public works department manager.
Froehlich had served as interim manager of the department over the past year. Founded in 2003, EPS Group provides civil engineering, planning, land development, surveying, water resource, landscape architecture and construction management services in 14 states.
During his tenure as interim manager, Froehlich expanded client relationships and headcount, which led to several new assignments for the firm from the Maricopa County Department of Transportation, Arizona Department of Transportation and the Town of Eagar. Froehlich graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a degree in civil engineering.
