Insurer Signs Deal for 65,260 Square Feet

Progressive Corp., an automobile insurer, became the first signed tenant at the Interchange Center in Tampa, FL. The company will move into 65,260 square feet or half of the 130,522-square-foot building located at 4211 Camden Field Parkway by December 2002. Progressive plans to use the space as a training facility. The East Tampa business park is located on 70 acres and has a master plan that accommodates 850,000 square feet of light industry and office space. The park is a joint venture between Alex Brown Realty of Baltimore, MD and Triad Investors. Horton, Haley & Carter architects designed the multi-tenant building. Jack Hoskins of CB Richard Ellis represented the owners in the transaction. Jimmy Johnson of Trammell Crow represented the tenant.
